Riskpoint is looking for a Junior PHP developer to join out small but growing team based in West London.
You will be working on a range of bespoke workflow applications, online databases and interactive websites. In addition to client work, the role will involve developing and contributing to our in-house toolkit.
Direct client communication is a key part of the role - ability to effectively exchange ideas with people from non-technical backgrounds is essential.
This role involves a combination of front-end and back-end development techniques so it will suit a PHP developer wishing to extend their skillset and take on tehnically challenging projects.
Ideally you will have 1-2 years of development experience, but we will consider anyone with a good portfolio of past work willing to learn quickly and passionate about technology and innovation.
Essential skills
- Experience with the full LAMP stack
- Use of a common IDE
- Version control tools knowledge (SVN of Git)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Passion for technology and innovation
Bonus skills
- JavaScript + jQuery
- UX skills
- HTML5 + CSS3, responsive design techniques
